ALOHA!!!!

This party has been 75 years in the making (ha ha not quite) we actually had been planning Wynn's 75th birthday party for a couple of months. Daniel and I worked hard making the Tiki Bar and it was HARD work, Daniel built the frame while I shopped for supplies (LaRae and Adam helped with the costs, and Haylee and Joe provided the palm leaves) Anyways we thought it turned out fantastic. We also helped pitch in for the pit barbecued pig that tasted delicious. We had some entertainment in the form of Hulu dancing and fire whatever you call it. The girls learned some hula dancing, and the kids loved Shelley's backyard, it was the perfect setting. We had some great food, and desserts and Haylee and Joe were whipping out the pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris like no bodies business (virgin of course :) The best part was the look on that deserving man's face when he saw that lots and lots (over 100) of his family had come to celebrate him, and he had no idea it was coming. We love Wynn so much, he is one of the hardest working men I know and he looks pretty good for being 75. He always has a hug for his grandkids and calls his granddaughters and daughters sweeties al the time and I think it is so adorable. He enjoys his family and is often a voice of reason in some matters. He loves his extended family and is always interested in news of his nieces and nephews. He is a good husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We appreciate him and all he does and we love our extended family for the support they give one another!!!!!
